This home has been named The Black Haus due to its striking front facade of charred black timber, black window frames and concrete flooring.
This concept continues into the home, with the use of the charred black timber internally to the entry foyer, the centrally positioned fireplace and the feature gable wall, while the polished concrete flooring continues throughout, adding to the contemporary minimalist design.
A pivotal aspect of the design was the raked ceiling right through the open living space, finishing off with the detailing of the raked wall cladding to bring the external and internal elements together.
This raked ceiling invites you in from the front facade and draws you right into the home.
