Ray started his career as a carpenter and moved on to start his own renovation company at the age of 20. He completed his Diploma of Builders Registration at night school and soon became a site supervisor for a boutique home builder in Perth.
After a couple of years working as a Supervisor on single and double storey boutique homes, Ray moved on to the commercial construction sector and became a Site Manager for a large commercial company, looking after high end mixed-use apartment buildings in the Perth CBD and surrounds. During this time, Ray really picked up the skills, knowledge and appreciation of good communication, superior organisation and an eye for detail that’s needed to produce some of the best quality work in Perth. In 2009 Ray became one of Perth’s youngest ever registered builders, but maintained his role in the commercial market until 2010 when he started up Mondo Exclusive Homes and decided to bring the skills, trades and quality of the high end commercial sector back to the Perth residential market.
Ray is constantly looking to improve and streamline the construction process and has been a long time contributor to the building industry. He keeps an active involvement in the Master Builders and Housing Industries Associations and he sits on the MBA Housing Council as an elected councillor. He also judges for both the MBA and HIA Housing Excellence Awards and represents the MBA on industry related matters, with both local and state government.
Ray personally supervises all projects at Mondo Exclusive Homes. With his hands on experience and ability to deal with architects, engineers and contractors, his projects run efficiently and on schedule.
